Freedom Lube was started by 2 local AMSOIL Dealers, Darrell Rozell and Thom Wofford, as a way of offering AMSOIL users a place to come and learn about and purchase AMSOIL products without having to order them and wait for them to be shipped. Along with the Retail aspect of the business Darrel and Thom wanted to offer local consumers the option to switch from conventional lubricants to synthetic ones and experience the benefits of a better product and longer drain intervals. A complete lubrication service including engine oil and filter changes, transmission fluid exchange, differential and transfer case fluid exchange, and bypass filter installation are also offered at the Freedom Lube, Inc. location.

As Independent Dealers for the AMSOIL family of products Our Mission is to bring the very best synthetic lubricants, filters, and automotive accessories to the Wichita Falls, Texas and surrounding area. We also offer our services across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico through the establishment of Retail-on-the-Shelf and Commercial Accounts for businesses that want to sell AMSOIL products or use them in their vehicle and equipment fleets. We believe it is important to educate today’s consumer about the benefits of longer intervals between vehicle and equipment oil and filter changes. The technology to extend oil change intervals well beyond the recommended 3,000 miles has been around since 1972 when AMSOIL manufactured the first API approved fully synthetic motor oil and guaranteed it for 25,000 miles or 1 year.

Over the years AMSOIL has introduced several more “Firsts” in the lubrication industry and all have been associated with extended use intervals. AMSOIL is able to do this because the company philosophy is to first decide exactly what they want a particular product to do, purchase the very best ingredients necessary to manufacturer the product, test it against the competition and only introduce it to the market after it is proven to do what AMSOIL intends it to do. It costs more to do it this way, but the result is increased quality over the competitions price based formulations, improved vehicle performance, less wear and tear on lubricated components, and lower cost to the consumer over the course of time.
