Workforce Solutions

Workforce Solutions is the new name for the local workforce development board. Workforce Resource has been the name of the network of services. All 28 workforce boards in Texas have been branded with the Workforce Solutions name. Services to employers and job-seekers remain the priority.

Workforce Solutions North Texas serves employers and job-seekers in the 11-county North Texas area. The Board contracts with the Texas Workforce Commission in Austin and receives more than $7 million in federal and state funding to provide funds for the operation of Workforce Solutions Centers. The services range from providing job applicant screening for employers, training for eligible individuals, and support services such as subsidized child care.
