Laura Stancik, O.D. is the owner of Texas State Optical in Wichita Falls and in Vernon, TX. She practices with Roy T. York, O.D. Both are therapeutic optometrists. Texas State Optical has been serving the families of Texoma for over 50 years. Stancik has been with TSO for 10 years. As a therapeutic optometrist, she treats medical eye conditions and provides comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings and the latest in eyewear technology. Dr. Stancik offers the Optomap Retinal Exam, which assists the doctors in viewing the retina to detect early signs eye disease as well as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and cancer. A 1998 graduate of the University Of Houston College Of Optometry, Stancik makes her home in Wichita Falls. She and her husband are the parents of two children. York has been with TSO since 1999. A graduate of Northeastern State University College of Optometry, he has also practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma. York is married with two children and lives in Iowa Park.
